Singles FAQ |
|
Why should I learn to dance? |
It is a lot of fun and makes us
feel good! It is also a great stress reliever. When we are dancing, we
forget about our jobs, bills, etc. (Guys: A little known secret is that most
women love to dance!) |
|
Do I get to meet people and make new friends? |
Yes, we rotate in class, (change
partners), so you get a chance to meet everyone! |
|
What happens on Monday Night? |
We have dance class at 7:00
P.M., and class at 8:00 P.M., and then you can practice your new moves from
9 - 10 P.M. Before you know it, you will have learned
several dances! You will find the current class
schedule here! |
|
When can I start? Do I have to wait till the beginning of a new series? |
You can start anytime! The
instructor will be reviewing previous material, and most people will be very
helpful in learning the moves. |
|
What should I wear? |
You should
wear something loose. Do not wear tennis shoes, since they restrict your
movement. Dance shoes are best, but if that is not an option, try to wear
leather soled shoes. |
|
Do I have to sign a
contract? |
No! We do not use
contracts or "programs" or "memberships". We believe that students will return if they are learning and
having fun! |
|
Are couples allowed on Monday night? |
Yes, couples are allowed to attend. We do not want to exclude
anyone. |
|
Should I get a
physical before taking lessons? |
While most dancing is
not very strenuous, we would recommend that you consult with your doctor
before starting any new physical activity. |
