Priscilla Allen is a Certified
Fitness Trainer who loves to train individuals as well as groups. She is the
Fitness Director at Southwest Boulevard Family Health Clinic in Kansas City,
Ks. On the weekend, she spends her time doing personal training and a
Yoga/Pilate’s fusion group session at Walter’s Dance Center.
Priscilla has had Personal Trainers
Certifications since August 2004, and Group Exercise Instructor
Certification since April of 2005, through the National Exercise Trainers
Association and the Arthritis Foundation. She is also a Certified Basic Life
Saving Instructor (CPR Trainer) through the American Heart Foundation and
University of Kansas Medical Center. Her specialties are Core Training,
Pilate’s/Yoga fusion, Hi/Lo Aerobics, Combat Aerobics, PACE (People with
Arthritis can Exercise) and Pre/Postnatal workouts.
Priscilla is very passionate about
teaching individuals how to exercise and eat healthy. She enjoys seeing them
empower themselves to change their life styles. She understands how hard it
is to lose weight, having lost 81 lbs and 40+ inches off her body. She knows
that having that cheerleader/drill sergeant in my corner “helped push me
through to a better me.”
Priscilla has been Ballroom Dancing for 3
years, and is currently competing in Country Dancing. Through her experiences as a dance student, she has found new ways to help dancers improve. She now teaches dancers & dance instructors
about different exercises that develop their core and enhance their ability
to dance! |
