Mark Harris
teaches Ballroom, Country & Swing. He enjoys working with beginners and
wedding couples, as well as advanced students. Mark
has won many "Top Teacher" awards, and was the 2011 ACDA Top Male Teacher of
the Year. |

|
Mark, and his wife Mary, are
2-time American Country Dance Association National Champions, have won many
titles in Swing, and were 3rd in the Nation on the 2006 Masters Tour
(Masters National Swing Dance Championships.)

|
Mark is a U.S. Open Swing Dance
Championships Award Winner, and an Eight time State Swing Dance Champion.
He, and former partner Glenda Evans, won many 1st
Place Swing titles, and were 2nd in the Nation on the Masters Tour in 2007 & 2008. |

Mark is Certified by the N.A.D.T.A.,
Accredited by the National Teachers Association,
was a Judging Coordinator for the
Oklahoma/Kansas State Swing Dance Association, and is a former State Director of
the NTA (National Teacher Association). Mark is a member of the N.A.D.T.A.,
NDCA, NTA, WSDC, and the UCWDC. |

Mark
taught some of the first
Youth Ballroom Dance classes at several area schools. Check out this

Mark was also a featured dancer in the feature film, "Blog, The Movie."

Mark was the instructor for the Cow
Town Swing Dance Club and the Topeka Swing Dance Club. Mark
travels to many dance events during the year, dancing with his Pro/Am
students, competing, working as part of the event staff, teaching workshops,
judging, scoring, as MC or DJ. |

Mark also enjoys helping couples
prepare for their "First Dance". He can either teach you a few moves that
fit "Your Song", or choreograph the whole song to give it that "Special
Touch" that everyone remembers. The choice is yours! Mark will be glad to
edit the music for you. You will find notes from some couples that Mark
has helped here! |

Mark's students have done
very well in competition. Mark & his students, helped Walters Dance Center
win Top Studio (Out of State) at the 2008 Nebraska Invitational Ballroom
Championships! |
