James Netherton teaches all
styles of dance but enjoys International Standard & American Smooth the
most. He has competed around the country in American Smooth.
James began his dance career taking classes at the age
of 15. After a ten year break he found Ballroom Dancing and worked hard to
improve. With his teacher Diana Roberts, he won 1st Place in Pro/Am 3-times
at St. Louis Star Ball, and 5-times at Heart of America DanceSport
Championships. He then turned Pro in August of 2005.
James continues to expand his dance knowledge taking
lessons from Tony Meredith, John Swick, Melanie Lapatin, Karina Smirnoff,
Dianne Gingerich, and Jean-Marc Genereux.
James enjoys dancing in Pro/Am events with his
students, and they fare very well in competition. |
